and Conditions
During the busiest parts of the year our apartments are generally let weekly;
Erraid 1/2 Portmore Place, & Iona 3/1
Portmore Place are let weekly from
4pm FRIDAY to 10am the following FRIDAY. This allows guests
to take advantage of the late ferry run by Calmac on friday
evenings throughout the summer & avoids the premium charged
on the busiest saturday ferries.
Ulva 2/2 Portmore Place, & Lunga 3/2 Portmore
Place are let weekly from 4pm SATURDAY to 10am the following
SATURDAY.
Erraid & Ulva cost £425 per
week, Lunga costs £375 per week & Iona costs £325 per week
if booked directly with us & the booking runs from Friday to
Friday for Erraid & Iona, or Saturday to Saturday for Ulva &
Lunga.
Short breaks of 3 nights or
more, may also be booked via Night Porter using the button
on our home page. The nightly rates for each apartment are
as follows; Erraid & Ulva £80 per night, Lunga £70 per night
& Iona £65 per night. Unfortunately the night porter system
can't cope with different nightly & weekly rates so we ask
guests to use it for checking availability & to book short
breaks, but please contact us direct for weekly bookings as
this allows us to offer full weeks at the weekly rates
shown above..
All prices include electricity, towels, tea
towels & bed linen. We also provide dishwasher tablets,
washing up liquid & cleaning materials, and toilet roll.
Our apartments are strictly non smoking.
Unfortunately we do not accept pets due to
bad experiences in the past.
The apartments will be available from 4pm on
the day of arrival. If we are not able to meet you at the
apartment we will leave the key in a keysafe beside the door
& we will call round later that evening to meet you.
We
ask guests to vacate the apartment by 10am on the day of
departure to give us time to prepare for the next guests,
and to leave the apartment in a clean & tidy condition.
We ask for a deposit of 50%
to confirm a booking with the balance payable a month before
the start of your holiday. We prefer payment by old
fashioned cheques because of the high charges associated
with other methods, but can provide a paypal account for
payment by debit or credit card if required. If payment is
made by paypal we charge an extra 2% as a contribution
towards paypal fees. Please make cheques payable to Debra
Lyndley & send to the address above. We can also accept
direct bank transfers - please contact us for details if
required.
The apartments are let for
holiday purposes only. Guests undertake to occupy the
apartments only during the period of hire & to vacate the
apartment at the end of this period. Guests are also
responsible for breakages & damage to the apartment during
the period of hire (excluding normal wear & tear) &
undertake to leave the apartment in a clean & tidy
condition. Breakages & breakdowns will very occasionally
happen, so we ask guests to let us know at the time if
anything breaks or stops working. We want you to enjoy your
holiday & we carry an extensive stock of spares, to give us
a chance to replace or repair things before they spoil your
holiday.
Cancellations: Deposits &
balances are non-refundable unless we are unable to honour
the booking for an unforeseen reason (such as if the
apartment becomes uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond
our control such as fire or flood - which we sincerely hope
will never happen!) Should we have to cancel a booking
our liability is limited to a refund of any monies paid & we
will not be liable for consequential losses under any
circumstances. If a booking is cancelled by a guest we will make
every effort to re-let the week, & will refund any monies
paid if we are able to obtain another booking. We strongly
recommend that guests take out holiday insurance to cover
them against having to cancel their holiday.
